I found chapter one to be rather basic with nothing new to really teach me. This chapter also pointed out soe of the different ways that a computer and technology can be used in the everyday world.
I have learned how to better use Windows XP... which in my case is rather useless due to the fact that my computer uses Vista. Maybe though the information I grasp her will come in handy with thhe out of date systems that Miami-Dade public schools have to offer to it's elementary school systems.
To tell you how I feel I think would be rather pointless... but here I go anyways.Called me childish but I miss my home. I miss having may parents come home from work and glare at me for not cleaning up the house. I miss my yorkie barking ay me to feed her. I also miss knowing how my day was going to go. In Miami I knew which street to take where and how long it useually took and even how much traffic to expect... but here it is all differnt. I started out all new up here. I had no friends not a soul in Tallahassee knew who I was... I still see rather tiny in the world when I say that. =( . On the bright side I have begun to meet new people and making friends rather slowly =). No offence to this class or what it has to teach me but after high school I believe most people know the basic skills being taught here. Oh and By the way... sorry Tatyana for talking... what can I can say I can be a little overly social. I also would like to add that I did not mean for this blog to sound bitter and I do apologize for this. I hope that everyone has a great day! ; P

Moving to a new town is always hard. I lived in Atlanta for 2 years and didn't make any close friends until a few months before I moved back to Tally.
It's cool, I talk too (maybe more so than you). I hope we haven't been disruptive.
Don't worry it gets easier. It's hard going to a place where no one knows you- I have moved 7 times (including college) but at least everyone in your class is in the same situation as you! Just have a good time in Tally, it's a blast here!
One thing that I would like you to remember from someone who is evidently older than you are, when you learn something new it is never ever useless.
I am from Ft. Lauderdale and I know how you feel in a small, country town. You will adjust in time.
